As a Manager based in San Francisco, Marissa delivers feasibility assessments, technical assistance, and project construction support to government, nonprofit, and philanthropic clients. Prior to joining Third Sector, Marissa worked as Graduate Support Manager with the Neighborhood Leadership Development Program in Cleveland, OH where she planned leadership development programming and supported local leaders in creating change in their communities. She was previously a Fellow with the George Gund Foundation. In this role, Marissa conducted due diligence and provided recommendations for strategic and responsive grant making in Northeast, OH. She began her career developing strategic plans for demolition and vacant land re-use for a HUD Community Challenge grant in Warren, OH.
Marissa graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Willamette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
