Alisha is an Associate at Third Sector based in Brooklyn, NY. Alisha’s personal and work practice centers on values of equity and community. She began her public sector career at Sixth Street Shelter of Allentown, PA, where she supported parents in obtaining affordable housing and secure employment. Since then, she has dedicated much of her work (NYC Department of Homeless Services) and study (Public and Nonprofit Management & Policy) to understanding different drivers of racial/socio-economic inequality, and their local policy solutions.
Alisha obtained a BA in History & International Affairs from Lafayette College, and an MPA from NYU Wagner. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin with the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra and cooking with her partner.
