Joanna is Third Sector's Manager of Partnerships and Project Develoment. She has spent her career working at the intersection of communications, politics, and education. Most recently, she guided sales strategy at GetThru, a progressive poli-tech company.
She was a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow with the Congressional Hunger Center, where as part of her placement on the National League of Cities' Racial Equity and Leadership (REAL) Initiative, she developed a monitoring and evaluation dashboard cities can use to track racial equity indicators over time.
Joanna attended Western Kentucky University where she studied Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in the Humanities.
Outside of work, she can be found reading, cheering for her favorite basketball teams, or spending time with her partner and their cat, Winnie.
